Oregon Health Insurance Lottery

There's a new Oregon state health insurance "lottery" for the Oregon Health Plan. If you don't know what that is, is state health insurance for low income families. They usually don't allow adults to apply, unless you're pregnant(and a few other conditions) but now they have openings for 10,000 adults to join.

You have to put your name on the reservation list, from which they will choose names randomly. But you have to put your name on the list befor February 29th of this year, so hurry up if you want to get on the list. the website is here: www.oregon.gov/DHS/open
